THE CAR IS TITLED AS A 1932 CHEVY. NO TRADES. Please do not waste our time bidding if you do not have the money to buy the car. It costs us time and money so please make sure your finances are in order BEFORE you bid. Thank You! For serious inquiries you may call or text - (812)-820-2945. Please leave a message if there's no answer.BODY-This is a rare car you don't see everyday rebuilt in a way that makes it truly unique. It's not your typical Model A like everyone else has. You will not find another 32 Chevy like this one. We started with an original steel body that had been left for dead and took all the old rotten wood out so we could build a new steel skeleton to support the body. After we got it all squared up and had the doors functioning again we installed new bearclaw style door latches and chopped the top 4.5 inches. We also reconstructed almost the whole lower half of the body panels to get rid of all the old rusted out pieces. The body is now very solid and the doors open and shut great. The floors were constructed of new 16 gauge steel with a full sub-floor made of 3/4” square tube. The dash is another custom touch it's made from a 57 Bel-Air gauge cluster and an old bumper from an unknown source and a LOT of modifications. The grill shell wasn't with the car when we bought it so we opted for a 32 Ford grill shell then cut it down and made a custom insert for it. CHASSIS-The frame is fully custom built for this car. The front clip is made from 3/16” plate on the top and bottom of the rails and 1/8” for the side plates. The holes are filled with Schedule 40 pipe for strength. The front crossmember is made from 3/16” steel. The back and center part of the frame are made from 2x3 box steel with a full inner “X” structure made from 1” Schedule 40 pipe.SUSPENSION AND STEERING-The suspension is a pretty basic setup. It has the spring over axle leaf springs up front. In the back we used a Medium arch leaf spring setup from Speedway Motors and ladder bars. We also put a set of air shocks in the rear to let you have a little bit of adjustment in the rear. The steering is a brand new Chrome vega box with the pitman arm ran through the largest hole in the frame. The steering column is a brand new column from speedway motors equipped with a quick release hub to take the steering wheel off easily. ELECTRICAL-The wiring and switches on this car are all new. The tail lights are frenched in motorcycle taillights (they appear to be model A ford lights with a custom made grill that covers them.) The headlights are original 32 Chevy Headlights that have been updated with new Halogen bulbs. It does have working turn signals on ALL FOUR corners! The front signals are hidden inside the headlights.DRIVETRAIN-The engine is a internally stock 350 SBC that has been updated with a polished aluminum air gap intake holley carb new water pump billet puleys new 1-wire alternator and polished valve covers and scoop. The Transmission is a 400TH automatic trans. The rearend is a GM rear out of a Police Package '95 caprice the rear is equiped with all new oversized drum brakes and 3.08 gear ratio. The front brakes are GM disc brakes. The master cylinder is a new manual brake cylinder for a 1980 Camaro. For cooling this coupe is equiped with an aluminum radiator and an electric fan that is hidden behind the grill insert. The gastank is a huge fabricated tank that we estimate to hold aroung 15-18 gallons. It has a sight gauge on the outside that can be seen between the seats by simply looking over your shoulder. TRUNK-This car unlike many hot rods you see out there does have a trunk! It isn't a large one after all the suspension has to go somewhere but it is big enough to hold some of your belongings on the way to a show. It can be locked as well which is a good thing because inside the trunk is where the gas fill is located. You can also air the shocks up from the trunk.PAINT AND FINISH-The body is painted a satin metallic garnet red. Inside we used a semi gloss black and for the floors we used herculiner truck bed liner. The underside of the car is protected with rubberized undercoat. The fame is painted black underneath the car and grinded and clearcoated on the front clip. The paint may not be flawless but it was meant to be a drivable hot rod not a trailer queen.OVERALL the car is a great hot rod that starts right up and runs and drives great. The drivetrain does have some miles on it but the engine keeps perfect oil pressure and stays right on temp. The trans shifts great. We just put all new fluids and filters in the trans and engine. Be sure to check out all the photos of it and watch the videos. It's really a great car you don't see them like this very often. Anyone who is interested is welcome to check it out in person.THE CAR IS TITLED AS A 1932 CHEVY!If you would like to see photos of this car as it was being built you can check out our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ballistickustomrodsNO TRADES! For pics of the entire build progress please check out our facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/ballistickustomrodsI am willing to store the car for a reasonable amount of time as long as it is paid for. I know sometimes shipping companies need a couple weeks in order to pick up a vehicle. I also can recommend a couple different shippers that have picked up my vehicles.
