1967 Chevy Nova Hardtop
Very straight body Desert Car with no rust. Solid floors solid trunk Solid rockers quarters fenders etc. no rust. Could use a new paint job. The car was taken apart for paint but never put back because the paint shop closed andthe previous owner lost interest.Definitely a project car that needs to be finished. Has a great body the engine sounds very healthy and the transmission shifts good. Just needs a good paint job and then all of the trim can be put back on. I have both bumpers headlight buckets and trim pieces. Has a small block crate motor and automatic transmission. Has roll bar but no harnesses or seat belts. It is shown with one later model Camaro seat and I have the other one just not in the car currently. Has a fuel cell and the battery in the trunk. I bought this car in hopes of making a nice weekend car but I have several other project cars and I haven't been able to really do anything with this one.
Has a GM5.7 liter 350hp crate motor. The motor was sent to a local engine shop and has an upgraded cam valves intake manifold etc. The motor sounds really good with a nice small lope from the cam. I was told that the engine has less than 5k miles from the previous owner. The TH350 shifts good. In this light weight car this motor pulls hard.
The brakes work but they're non power assist and it is4 wheel drum so I wouldn't say they work well. Before driving anywhere I would upgrade to disc brakes and possibly new lines. It can drive up on a car hauler and stop to be shipped to your location but I wouldn't try to drive it home if you win the auction.
