Car description

1982 COLLECTOR EDITION CORVETTE. Low miles. I am the 2nd owner having purchased her in the mid 1980's. I'm a Vette fanatic and have had multiple Corvettes over the years ('69 L-89 427 rag-top '71 '73 '86 Pace Car). This 82 is the last of my collection.Vehicle has been stored under cover in a heated garage and has NOT been driven on regular basis over the past 8 years.Starts runs and drives but needs a full service and safety inspection including tune-up brake service and all fluids flushed. All fluids except oil and antifreeze are original. The good:** ALL ORIGINAL ** - All Numbers Matching. Starts & runs new tires and looks cool. The bad:Exterior - 33 years old and the original paint has faded. It will need refinishing. Hood decal is a bit faded and cracked. Quarter seams are starting to show (see pics).Interior - needs a touch up and repair (cracks) and dye job on some of the leather areas. The dash and center console are like new.Mechanical - One headlight is burned out but both flip up & down as intended. The power antenna is in the up position. The a/c heater fan motor is inoperative. The power locks are weak. Diver seatbelt does not retract. Minor valve cover oil leak.Summary: Some TLC and you have a great Collector Addition Corvette. Basically cosmetics. She's a true COLLECTORS car -- 1of 6759 built.Recently this model went for some big dollars at Barrett Jackson's.Non-smoking household.FULL DISCLOSURE - Pictures all of which were taken on 24th May 2015 do not reflect fading of paint and interior both of which will need to be refurbished for this car to reach it's potential - Needs Restoration. Will insist on the car being towed unless it is an extremely local sale. This vehicle is being sold AS-IS with noguarantee or warrantee. The Bidder/Buyer understands that he/she is purchasing this vehicle "AS-IS" and agrees not to hold the Seller responsible for any problems that may arise with thevehicle after the purchase whether or not those issues were known by either party at the time of purchase. Please email questions etc.
