This 1969 Chevy C10 pickup is the kind of vehicle that gets attention without being obvious about it. Maybe it's the great lines or maybe it's the shimmering paint but either way it doesn't resort to gimmicks to catch the eye. If you like your hardware simple and your look timeless this is the truck you should be driving.Admit it you're digging how this truck looks aren't you? This cool shade of metallic jade isn't outrageously wild like those candy purple or electric blue paint jobs other builders try to pull off. Instead the two-tone green and white has all the right premium pickup looks from the era but you can also tell that this shade is much more shimmering than the factory olive. It fits in with the old-school truck scene but it also really pops in the sunlight and catches the neon lights perfectly when you're out cruising on a Saturday night. The wheels look particularly nice because they coordinate with the vinyl bed cover and the inner color of the of the accent strips running down this pickup. These are actually the steel wheels painted black which also starts to highlight this truck's functional side. If you're going to have a pickup you should be able to use it as a hauler and so underneath the snap off tonneau cover is a spray-in liner. Now your weekends with this C10 can be spent at the hardware store AND showing off at car shows. If you truly want a vintage truck like this to look right then when you respray the exterior the interior also needs to be carefully repainted too. Just by looking inside we know there was a lot spent on paintwork (and the included restoration receipts should back this up). Just like the improved shade of 60s-style green the rest of the interior looks period correct but peppered with the right kind of upgrades. For example the stereo has the right vintage knob-style appearance but it's a digital AM/FM tuner that you can sync with modern players like your iPod. The heat/defrost controls and black vinyl seating look factory fresh which are signs of a good restoration because this truck once spent its life as an everyday worker. And boy does that wood grained dash pop! But possibly the best upgrades are reserved for the driver. There is an original style Chevy truck steering wheel in near perfect condition and behind that is new a column-mounted tach. Not only is this a good feature to aid with the three-on-the-tree shifter but also it's a necessary readout for what lies under the hood. The 350 cubic-inch small-block V8 looks fresh from the crate and so we suspect it's a very recent addition. It has been upgraded with the chrome performance air cleaner and electronic ignition but that's not all. The rumble you hear at idle is courtesy of the new performance dual exhaust with x-pipe crossover. By now you might have noticed that this truck has a bit of a lowered stance and it's wearing BF Goodrich T/A radials. This very hot rod like setup is because these Chevy C/Ks are actually really great street machines. There is an independent suspension up front and this one has a trailing arm suspension in the rear. All of this makes it a very comfortable all-day cruiser. This is a really nice truck that doesn't cut any corners - you even get the original owner's manual. It has the chiseled good looks of a classic bow tie with plenty of muscle to back it up. If there's one thing we have learned people like quality and this one doesn't disappoint...call now!!
