This is a no reserve auction for a true 1973 Camaro LT/RS Camaro. The title is free and clear on this Camaro. You will receive legal documentation in my name.It is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time if it sells. However at the end of this auction the high bidder will be the new owner. Let's see what the market says because I have too many projects. I will not be able to start on it anytime soon. It deserves attention or at least needs to be inside a garageuntil restoration starts. I have no more indoor space and I don't want to buy a tarp to cover it. I would like to find this 1973 Camaro LT/RSa good home.
The following is my local ad.
Free and clear title. This is an original and real 1973 Camaro LT RS 350 and automatic car. It still has the original correctRSfront nose and bumperettes. This Camaro has front and rear disc brakes A/C and power steering. The drivetrain is no longer with the car. Please see the cowl tag and vin# photos for decoding. You can verify it is a real LT/RS. It is an original medium orange car. It is a rolling body. It is ready for your vision. I am asking $3900 and it's negotiable. Please come with your trusted body man sheetmetal man restoration expertand examine the car. Please contact me at(770)262-8663 if you are interested in building this car.
I gave this car a thorough examination today. Please read this informationand take everything into account. I want you to know everything about the car. Please ask about any concerns you have prior to bidding. You don't have to guess about anything. If I indicate thatan areais solid on this carthat means that if you media blast it will still be there afterwards. If the metal is still there after media blasting you have good solid useable metal. I say this for your benefit just in case you are not used to the restoration process. Please have any restorer that you are comfortable with contact me with questions. I will be honest. The roof is solid. This Camaro's front windshield and rear glass areas are really solid and arein great shape. The dash is solid. The firewall is solid. The rear speaker shelfarea is solid both on top and underneath inside of the trunk. The quarter panels are rusted on both sides at the bottom behind the rear wheel. The trunk drop-offs are both rusted at the lower area as they meet the previously mentioned area of the quarter panel. They are solid at the top near the trunk. The inner and outer wheel wells are solid and are in unbelievable condition. The floor pans need the patch panels but I would suggest the full floor pan. It's the same amount ofwork and you end up with a cleaner factory look. The doors both need skins because of the lower part of the outer door. You can patch them but once again the skins just give a cleaner factory look. The insides of the doors are in good shape. The trunk is solid with surface rust in the center area. There is a small area on the passenger side of the trunk closer to the back seat area that has some small pin holes. I have shown this area in the photos. You only need to cut it out weld in good metal and grind the weld. No trunkpan will be needed. There are 2 areas on this car that I can find aBondo or filler application. The drivers side fender has some bondo at the top front. The lower rear valance has Bondo or filler in it as well. The lower rearvalance is right below the rear bumper. The fender can be repaired with a hammer and dolly or you can replace it. The rear valance is in very bad condition.I would replace it. The lower fender areas behind the front wheels both need patch panels. The front subframe is solid. The radiator support is solidThe rocker panels are solid. The rear frame rails are solid with one exception. The driver side frame rail has a small area that has some rust through. Thisarea is shown in the photos. It will need some fabrication. It is facing the ground on the outside of the frame rail and a repair panel should be made. There is no way I would remove that original frame rail from this car. You can repair it and grind down the weld. It is shown in the photo. The rest of the frame rail is solid. The RS noseis solid. The bucket seats are not from the same car but I believe they are the correct seat frames. The correct foam and seat covers will need to be purchased. I had them left over from previous builds. The passenger sidebucket seat is from a Camaro and the Driver sidebucket seatcame from a Trans Am.The back seat is complete minus one of the seat bottoms. Console wiring speedometer cluster headliner rods are all inside of the car. The driver side lower door panel is missing. The rest are with the car.Thereis no hood or hinges. The rearend is a disc brake rearend and everything has been plumbed and emergency brakecables are attached properly. The multi leaf rear leaf springs are good. The rearend appears to be a posi traction rearend. The tireswereturning in the same direction forwards and backwards when I checked. I have not dropped the inspection plate and therefore I can't tell youhow it is geared. It is a 10 bolt rearend. Please only bid if you can finish the transaction. If you have any other questions please ask prior to bidding. I will assist the winning bidder with loading the Camaroat pickup. I will assist your transporter with loading take photos of your loaded Camaro and I will send you photos of the Camaro leaving me. Basically I will take care of you on my end and communicate with you. Thanks for your consideration!
