Car description

We sell a heck of a lot of early Camaros so there's one to suit every taste. This 1967 Camaro hardtop is for the guy who likes a minimalist approach where the hardware is effective but the look is classic and not over-wrought. With a GM Performance 350 under the hood a really nice interior with A/C and just enough attitude you can have a lot of fun with this car and not have to sweat the little stuff.Probably the most important thing you need to know about this car is that it photographs really well. Not that this is a bad thing but the bright red paint is showing its age and could probably use a professional cut and buff to wake it up again. Underneath however the sheetmetal is quite straight and the body fits together very well and everybody will admire this car as it hammers past. The clean lines of the earliest Camaros are my personal favorite and with a cowl induction hood Z/28-style front spoiler and a ducktail spoiler on the trunk lid it's got a very purposeful look. It has not been dressed up with stripes fake SS badges or any nonsense like that which is a good thing as far as I'm concerned and it lets the purity of the design speak for itself. A few bright pieces like the bumpers and rocker panel moldings add some class and the trick Detroit Speed headlights work like flamethrowers at night. The black interior is simply gorgeous however and offers a few choice upgrades that make this an awesome long-distance hauler. It's mostly stock using standard bucket seats with new covers fresh black carpets and original door panels to deliver a factory-correct look. The factory center console is joined by a modern armrest with cup holders as well as a full array of auxiliary gauges tucked under the dash right where they belong. The factory gauges are in good order and there's a Sun tach strapped to the steering column right where the racers would have put it back in the day. It has a fully functional Vintage A/C system a great-sounding AM/FM stereo with speakers in the kick panels and on the rear package shelf and a slightly fatter rim on the 3-spoke steering wheel. The rear seat looks almost new and the trunk is properly outfitted with a reproduction mat that fits rather well. One glance under the cowl-induction hood will tell you where all the money was spent. It's a built 350 cubic inch V8 with a host of upgrades designed to make it fast fun and reliable. There's a mild cam inside an Edelbrock intake manifold and 4-barrel carburetor and MSD ignition all wrapped in bright Chevy Orange paint. A custom serpentine belt drive for the accessories ensures reliability on the road and there's a big electric fan for the new 4-core aluminum radiator. Things like 4-wheel disc brakes quick ratio steering gearbox the tubular A-arm suspension the Mad Dog 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission and an Auburn Gear rear 3.73 gears out back were all designed to make this vintage Camaro feel a lot more contemporary. Long-tube ceramic Hooker headers feed a great-sounding H-pipe exhaust system and the stance is exactly right thanks to Koni shocks and 17-inch Cragar wheels wrapped in low-profile performance rubber.A very good car that only needs a slight push to be amazing this Camaro gets almost everything right and delivers the driving experience you've always wanted from your vintage F-body.
