1962 Corvair Convertible. This a really good car. It looks good and starts and drives as well. As far as I can tell this thing is all original. Ive owned it for a few a years and it has always started and run well. When I bought it one of the tail lights was not working and the blinkers were also not functioning. The car also had a CD player and FM stereo installed. I had the Electical problems rewired and the last owner still had the original AM radio so I had that reinstalled. Now the car is fully functional. everything is working as it should. The paint is good with a few minor chips. The interior is good. It was redone by someone before I owned it and I would give the work a B+. It looks good but if you look close there a few minor imperfections.I would describe this car as not a show car but as far as original cars go I don't think you would find many in better condition. Its just an old car that has been taken care of.The odometer reads 98000 and the guy who I bought it from said it hadn't turned over but there is know way of knowing for sure because he was not the original owner either. The negatives: I believe the original 1962 white with red interior corvair had a red convertible top boot. This car has a black boot that matches the top. Also although car starts and runs well but it is a not a hot rod. It accelerates slow and tops out at about 70 on the highway. It also has mismatching front and back tires but they are in pretty good shape.
