This 1965 El Camino is an L79 clone. It is a 327 c.i. 350 hp 4-bbl with a Tremac 5-speed transmission. It has power steering power disc brakes factory working air conditioning new 2-1/2" dual exhaust Michelin tires heavy duty front and rear sway bars. The dash has the Chevelle SS cluster with gauges and factory tach. The 327 was rebuilt balanced and blueprinted. The heads are 2.02 valved. Stock exhaust manifolds are spaced out for better breathing. It also has roller rockers. It has positraction rear end windshield washer system AM/FM radio dual O/S door mirrors and an inside day/night mirror. The interior I believe is factory original - not perfect but very nice. The car was painted long ago. The paint is not bad. This El Camino can be driven home no matter where you live and get good gas mileage all the way. The mileage on the odometer reads 77030. It was driven 2800 miles on the 2010 Power Tour and was partly sponsored by Tremac. I have a complete rebuild and installation record including photos. The car is for sale locally so it could be pulled if sold.
