1949 CHEVROLET 5-WINDOW PICKUP

Nice original 1949 5-window Deluxe Cab Chevy Pickup. 1956 235 6-cyl motor. 3 speed on the column. Original 411 rear. New parts include: bumpers front bumper filler hood ornament mirrors tail lamps floor mat gas pedal knobs on dash glove box liner owner's manual all new tinted glass including rubber weather strips and run channels except corner windows. New mechanical parts: all hoses for radiator and heater rebuilt carburetor fuel filter gas line fuel pump spark plugs distributor cap wires points condenser and rotor brake shoes and hoses wheel cylinders master cylinder gas tank sending unit exhaust - duals rebuilt generator voltage regulator 12 volt battery. Gas tank has been cleaned. Wheels have been sandblasted and painted including spare. 5 good used tires 235-75-15s. Key fits all locks. All lights work including turn signals and dome light. Has new emergency brake cables but still does not work 100%. Truck was painted in late 70s. Has rust in left cab corner see picture right cab corner see pic hood has rust hole in left front corner see pic. Floors are solid. Has some hail dents on hood and roof. Truck drives good shifts good all gauges work. Stops straight. Bed floor has original wood with hole in front see pic. Have clean Texas title in my name. Been asked about the rust. Both cab corners have rust showing from poor previous repairs. They need to be replaced. They are $25 a piece on eBay. The rust on the hood corner could be patched but I have seen good hoods for $125. There are no rust holes in doors or floors and have never been patched. This is a straight old truck to be 66 years old and painted in the 70s. Also asked about the speed the truck has original 411 rear end and by design is about 50-55 mph. Running boards have no rust holes but have had body work. I painted them flat black. Thanks for looking.
