1968 Chevelle 396 SS

This ss 396 hard top belonged to my father. It sadly came into my possession when he passed away 3 years ago. I can remember the special times when he would take time during the summer to go on those special rides to the ice cream store when I was younger. When the Chevelle was given to me. I took the time and effort to restore the vehicle in my Fathers honour. The motor has been reworked. re-bored. and coupled with a new camshaft. It has infinitely more horsepower than it was supposed to have. but it rides amazing and always turns the heads of everyone you pass on the road. The interior is fantastic. the black leather interior definitely complements the orange paint job on the outside. The 4-speed hersch shifter really is a nice feeling. shifting from gear to gear. The body is structural sound and only dime size paint chips near door seals. In all honesty. it is a true and beautiful example of American automobile industry of the past. and the work of my Father. who put his time. sweat love and effort into it. This is truly a wonderful vehicle to behold.
