1971 Chevrolet Cheyenne K10 4WD LWB Pick-up truck. beautiful preservation with updated 350 small-block Chevy crate engine. All-original paint and body. no bondo! Numbers matching frame and cab. Very minimal rust and body damage. especially for being a 45+ year old vehicle. Overall. interior is in great condition. The seat. carpet. and headliner all appear to be new. Visors are in good shape also. Interior rubber and weather stripping appear to be in good condition. All windows work good. Front windshield has faint scratches from old wipers. There is also a sliding back window with working cab/cargo light. A set of seatbelts will need to be installed in order to complete the restoration. Currently. emergency brake inop. Diagnosis unknown. all parts intact. Speedometer and gas gauges read accurately. Other gauges have been installed in order to monitor engine performance more accurately (oil pressure. voltage. engine temperature gauges can be replaced to factory cluster with ease). Radio does not work. but dash appears not to have been cut for install. Electronic trailer brake controller installed under dash. Mileage as stated on odometer unverifiable. I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to own this truck. The previous owner would have probably never have sold it but he is now deceased. When I acquired this truck it was from a distraught family who really couldn't give much info other than their dad loved the truck and spent a lot of time and money on it. They also said the dad would not have painted it. he liked it original. I have to agree here. the truck is not perfect but it shows its age well. I love Chevrolet trucks and only Chevy. I will never again find another truck this nicely preserved and original. yet at this time in my life I must put my family first. The truck is having a hard time finding a place in our family. I have three kids and this truck is not quite big enough. I am sure one day in the future I will look back and really regret the sale but until then.
