1967 Chevy El Camino Malibu 327 V8 with a turbo 350 transmission. Car shows and drives very well. 1 re-paint (basecoat/clear coat 2 stage metallic) since new in original color. Original 327 engine still in the car (has been gone through). Transmission has been swapped from a 2-speed powerglide to a turbo 350 sometime ago (dont have the original tranny). It shifts very smooth. I acquired the car from the original owner. It has been in a garage for over 20 years. There is no rust on this car. It was built in the Fremont. CA plant and purchased by the original owner in Vacaville CA. I discovered it through a local mechanic and picked it up. After installing a new carb. plugs. wires. distributor. belts. flex fan. and battery. the car fired right up. Engine appears to have been gone through within last 10k miles. It looks very fresh. Compression is between 150-155 psi on all 8. Car fires right up. does no smoke. tracks straight. and drives tight. Front drums have also been replaced with a disk brake kit. Interior shows almost no wear. does not smell bad. everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) works: windshield wipers. windshield squarters. radio. cigarette lighter. lights. turn signals. heater. speedometer. etc. it all works. This car has not been monkeyed with. it has not changed a bunch of hands. and as you can tell from the pictures it looks excellent. Paint is glossy (clear coat has not been sanded). tiny ding on the hood (size of a dime). also small light scratch on the hood (1" long). and small flaw on rear tailgate trim (1/4" long). thats about it. Please inspect the car (or have it inspected) before bidding. Ask all your questions before bidding. Shipping can be arranged by you. and I will assist by being available for pick up. Car can be driven anywhere without concerns. Located in Concord. CA. Roughly 25 miles EAST of San Francisco. 9 2 5 - 5 1 8 - 9 6 5 1
