1959 Chevy Viking 40 NAPCO Power-Pak 4x4. This is not the light-duty NAPCO. This is the EXTREMELY RARE Medium-Duty NAPCO which uses bigger and stronger axles and the transfer case is a Rockwell T-223 version C3 with a 2. 05 low ratio. I believe the axles are Eaton. This is a 1-1/4 ton truck with the optional 14. 00 lb GVW (10k is standard). The rear axle is a 6. 17 ratio. The drive shafts are very heavy duty and could handle a V8 or Diesel conversion without problem. The tires are about 35" tall with lots more room! (It looks like 40" tires would fit fine without modifications). VERY FEW of these were made compared to the light-duty NAPCO trucks. This is build #2293 of all Chevy trucks made that year (2wd and 4wd). This truck makes a typical lifted 1-ton look like a tinker toy! This would be great restored or as a retro crawler. The 156" wheelbase is perfect to be turned into a crew cab pickup. Deluxe cloth seat needs recovered. Engine condition unknown. Motor turns over but hoodlums stole the radiator and carburetor. Everything else looks good. This is a project truck. Please see pictures for condition. MONTANA TITLE IN MY NAME! Title will be sent to auction winner via Registered U. S Mail.
