Description You are looking at an outstanding Survivor 1989 Chevrolet Camaro Iroc Z with an incredible 47. 21 Miles. T-Tops and one adult owner. It was consigned by a local consignor who has cherished this car since new but has decided it is time to part with their pride and joy. This car has been garage kept all it's life and never seen a winter. Below is a video collection of the car: Please scroll down and enjoy the 250+ photos. If you cannot view all the photos. please click here. This car was the owner's cherished possession and has been extremely well kept. He ordered the car as a gift to himself in 1989 and It has been garage stored and extremely well maintained. This car appears to be completely stock aside from the radio and alarm. The alarm was removed and the original radio is included. Note that it appears to be original including original paint and the extremely low miles. It has not seen any winters as you can see by the underbody photos. Also note that all the panels appear to be original and we could not detect any accidents which was confirmed by the owner. The glass is even original and it was sold new in Hales Corners. WI as shown. The Carfax is ultra clean and available here. Mechanically. this car runs well. It is smooth and quiet. The transmission shifts as it should. and it steers / turns stops well. The headlights. wipers. and other accessories we tested work well. Note the car runs and drives down the road nearly as a new car. and the car starts and idles unbelievably well. It has also had the air conditioning converted and has ice cold air. Cosmetically. it is in great shape aside from the few VERY minor dings. marks and scratches from age. The only issue is the paint is getting thin. just from washing and waxing the car. The top of the bumpers and hood are where it is most visible. This will need attention if you are looking for a car that is near perfect. However. the car is has the original or mostly original paint so we may be inclined to leave it. It is not a clearcoat peeling issue as you see on other cars. just the paint getting a bit weak. We also noticed the headliner is starting to let go in spots from age. Please look carefully at the auction photos. It is truly an outstanding original for the age. We cannot warranty any parts and as with any vintage vehicle. they are always a project in some way. Please note this before bidding if you are looking for a vehicle that will operate like a new vehicle. Collector cars are many times tempermental and reliability can be a factor on some. We also did not test each accessory or feature. and only drove the vehicle for a short distance. Also note there are marks and dings from use and age. Any of these should be trailered to their destination until the vehicle is checked over for safety (tires. etc). The title is free and clear. and we are also requiring a bill of sale be signed by the new owner stating this car is being purchased as-is. It is a straight car as you can see in the photos. The colors are great and it is very old school. As stated. it gets a ton of attention and would make a great addition to your Chevrolet or classic car collection. On May-05-15 at 10:21:17 PDT. seller added the following information: Hello everyone. hanks for all the emails - it is a great car and we have had a large amount of interest in it. The car is highly optioned and the options are listed in the photo of the glovebox (codes printed by GM when the car was manufactured). These can be decoded by visiting www. austinthirdgen. org/index. php?pid=30 and scrolling down to the 1989 model year. While the paint is weak on the tops of the bumpers and part of the hood as noted in the auction. we would not repaint the car. That is our opinion for what it is worth. Best of luck to everyone in the auction. Mike BoerschingerOwner. Sell It Now Store
