1970 Chevrolet Corvette Base Convertible 2-Door 7.4L

This 1970 Corvette convertible has had a frame on complete older restoration that still looks great with over 45. 00 spent on restoration. It is powered by a completely rebuilt 454 LS6 bored 30 over using all new GM parts and putting out 474 hp with less than 3. 00 miles on it. It has forged rods and pistons and high performance hydraulic flat tappet cam with matching springs. Everything was gm nos parts including the carb. It has a chambered exhaust that sounds great. The transmission is a M21 4 speed with a 26 spline input shaft that was completely rebuilt. The rear end has 411 GM matched gears. HD clutches. forged side yokes and adjustable strut rods. The car is painted a stunning Bright Teal Metallic code 38/WA9828 with a new tan AL Knock top. seats. and rugs. Dash and door panels are original but look like new. The tires are like new with 255/60/15 on rear and 215/70/15 on front mounted on later polished rims. The car has 4 wheel disc brakes with power steering and tilt & telescopic wheel. The car was stripped to bare fiberglass before being painted. All chrome was replated and all emblems. rocker moldings and weather stripping was replaced. All vacuum operated systems work correctly including the headlights and windshield wiper door. This car runs strong and is very fast. It drives and handles like new with no rattles.
