This Chevy was purchased by Raymond M. at a classic car dealership in Monterey Ca. It was driven by Raymond for 11 years and then sequestered to a covered parking place in Alameda. Ca. When purchased by Raymond in 1988. the ragtop chevy had been restored and transformed into what you see here. There must have been a donor car back then because all the pieces in the transformation are original and have stood up well to the test of time. The car is in a wonderful place where its not too perfect to enjoy. but good enough to illicit compliments wherever you go. I have been weekend driving the car and although it has rattles and squeaks. its 100% a great chevy musclecar experience. I have left the car for up to a month and when I returned. 4 pumps of the gas and it roars to a start. Once I was showing off to some friends and hit the gas. nbsp;after both rear tires started to break loose the chevelle leapt forward. nbsp;still burning rubber. I had to hit the brakes hard and almost popped my forehead on the steering wheel. True story. my guys were laughing so hard. The top switch will work to raise the top. but not lower it. I had an auto electric friend put it down for me once and for all. I don't own a ragtop to keep the top up. I have a cowboy hat for when the sun is too bright. The top will be raised for shipping. The car can be driven anywhere. so fly ins are ok if you are seeking adventure. The top is white and has a cut in it so replacement would be necessary. I will add pics as the auction goes along. This is a really fun car to own. You could still add your touches to it and not lose value for originality. I think its great as it sits. I will add the engine numbers shortly because it must be high horsepower. This is a powerful car and not recommended for inexperienced drivers. thanks. harris.
