Step back in time and look at this one of a kind Custom Van with only 29. 00 miles on it and NO RESERVE Up for auction is my 1978 Chevy G20 Custom Van that is a true survivor. The van has been in my family since it rolled off the dealer floor. Once off the floor it was sent out to be customized and painted. In 1983 the Van was kept in storage and remained in storage for over 30 years. During its storage it was cared for and started periodically. This van has it all. working 8 track tape player. plush carpeting. captains chairs. couch and table in rear that converts to a bed. Sink and refrigerator. This van even has the bamboo beads between the cab area and the rest of the van. She has a roof rack. roof vent and ladder on the back door. As you can tell by the pictures. nothing was missed when this van was built. This van has a custom airbrush paint job that is like no other one. The painting was done by the well known artist. Art Simpson who has signed the van and he is known for custom painting many high profile cars. vans. boats. motorcycles and planes. This is truly and one of a kind piece of art work. Now this van has taken first place in many car/van shows up and down the east coast. I was able to find a few of the awards and they will be included in the sale of the van. In 2014 I decided to update the van and take it to area car shows and did the following work to it. All the work has less than 500 miles on it. Tune up. new tires. new side pipes. new brakes and calipers. new front shocks and new rear air shocks. All fluids have been drained. flushed and replaced. All new belts and hoses were installed. New fog lights and day time running lights were installed. The van needs nothing at all but a good detailing. All the gauges work properly and I do want to note that the van does not have power steering.
