1968 Chevelle Barn Find This was to be a project car for me but I bought another house and don’t have time to mess with it. I have what appears to be a title that was signed as a date of issue in 07/05/1973. Date originally titled 03-05-1968 I am the purchaser on the “A” line (first line). I have not registered the car any further. So I have the title in hand that can be signed over to the next owner on the “B” line I believe. The Odometer shows 11316(2) I highly doubt the car turned over but I suppose its possible. The obvious signs of Pennsylvania roads are the rust areas. I noticed some small holes in the floor boards in the rear by the trunk and as seen in the images on and around the body. The front horns on the frame are bad so I have another rolling frame from an Oldsmobile that I was going to sandblast and paint. This will go with the car. I will have no use for it on its own. The moldings and bumpers look nice. and I don't see the usual rust areas around the windows. Roof and hood look good as well. The car starts and drives. the brakes don’t work. but I haven’t messed with them. I will be adding fluid to the reservoir to test. I also changed the oil before I ran it and added some antifreeze before storage. I had the car delivered. loaded it on a trailer and put it in storage at a friend’s. That’s the extent of ownership. I believe the tires are as close to original if not original. and there is a spare in the trunk along with the jack. It even has an 8 track under the dash. Please feel free to ask questions Thanks for looking!
