1984 Choo Choo El Camino SS This is a very nice 1984 El Camino SS. The last owner went thru the entire truck he spent $13. 05. 00 on parts. He had the El Camino painted for $4. 00. 00 This was all done in 2011 and 2012 he built the car to drive. I bought the car after he had a stroke in 11/9/2013. I have driven the car about 1400 miles since then and it drives fantastic. The truck is rust free very clean. The truck has headers and flow masters on it. Everything works including the window washers. The motor is a 350 / 290HP crate motor with an Edelbrock manifold and Holley Carburetor. Transmission is a 350 with a shift kit in it. It has Power Steering. Power brakes Disc. on the front. Tilt wheel. Power windows. Power door locks with an alarm. Air Conditioning blows cold. Tinted glass. Complete new interior. GPS Nav system It is a Choo Choo Customs with the number still on the door Jam. It has a cover over the top of the dash. The following information on the Choo-Choo SS is from a 1992 Choo Choo Customs Specialty Parts Division catalog: "The original El Camino SS was produced by Choo Choo Customs for GM from mid-1983 until the El Camino series was discontinued at the end of 1987. In addition to the aerodynamic nose treatment that was the primary styling feature of all El Camino SSs. all vehicles received graphics on the fascia. doors and tailgate. and a small chrome train logo above the glove compartment door. Vehicles manufactured in 1987 also have a Choo Choo Customs logo with train on the front fascia and tailgate. A limited number of El Camino SS had aerodynamic-ground effect style side exhausts with rectangular chrome exits.
