1960 Chevrolet Corvette - Dual Quad Carburetors - RARE Power Top

This car belonged to my brother who passed away last year. As co-executor of the estate I am selling the car. Because this is an estate sale. payment by bank transfer or meeting at your bank for a bank check are the only accepted methods of payment. You will not be able to take possession of the car until the estate lawyer can confirm funds transfer. The car is stored in Pearl River. New York. I do not know every detail. casting number or NOS vs repro parts used in the car. The car presents itself as a period correct Corvette with the parts used and appears to be complete and put together. I do not think any of the drive train is the original. The motor has casting number 3834810. The car is an original power top car. My brother has owned this car for over 35 years and has spent alot of time and money to build the car. He was a excellent mechanic and very meticulous in details. The car has the radio and heater delete and the dual quad carbs. Setup with performance in mind. not with accessories you don't need! I think the car has a full stainless steel exhaust system with coated manifolds which have some minor rust . I think it also has all stainless steel brake and fuel lines. I drove the car about 8 miles on April 18 and it runs excellent. perfect throttle response. shifts perfect. water temp just below 180 and good oil pressure. 30-40 lbs. The battery gauge should charging when first started and settle in the middle. Gas gauge showed about 3/4 full. Stops as best as you can expect with 4 wheel drum brakes! The car is put together. and as I best as I was able to test. all gauges work. all lights work and most important the power top works as expected! The car was painted in the 80's and still looks great. it is not perfect. The body does have some shrinkage in some seams and some bumps in the paint. Gaps are very nice. The trunk is very nicely detailed with what I think is the correct jack. lug wrench and handle. An original style spare tire. since that is the only type that fits in the well correctly. I do not know what the exact color of the car is or if it is a correct Corvette color. The body does have some shrinkage in some seams and some bumps in the paint. The tops of the fenders show signs of body work where seams are slightly visible. The right side fender has 2 seams across the top with a small crack in the edge of the hood opening and the left side has one seam across the top. Slight shrinkage in the body work. The body work is not perfect. but after all this time if anything were to crack or shrink it has already done so. Gaps are very nice. Anyone interested should personal inspect the car.
