This is a very rare find. Is a 1981 Chevy Impala with a 5. 7 V8 DIESEL. Is very clean. Only rust on it is surface rust on the bottom interior edge of the doors. Rocker panels. floor boards and trunk floor pan are all clear of rust. It has less than 20. 00 miles and appearance matches the mileage. Looks to be all original including paint. Was told it has sat in a garage in Florida for several years. I research this car a little and found they only made 315 of these cars and the FBI bought most of them. There are only two emblems on this vehicle one on the drivers door that says Diesel and a Chevy emblem on the grill. It has Impala embossed on the dash. Not sure why that would be. These motors had an issue with blown head gaskets and this one was repaired by GM under warranty and I believe parked after that. After purchasing this car. even though it drove like new I had it looked at. Concerned with the head gasket I had it replaced. Other things I had replaced are APR head bolts. water pump. alternator. master cylinder injector tip. starter. tires. battery and AC pump (needs recharging yet). It does need a glow plug controller. right now am using a manual push button. which works fine. But to be perfect it should be fixed. The interior of this car shows some wear (could use some TLC). This is a real nice car draws a lot of attention. This is strictly a C. O. D. purchase. No PAYPAL. If you get here and it is not what you thought don't take it. not twisting any arms here. BUYER PAYS AND ARRANGES ALL SHIPPING. Would be happy to answer any questions by phone if you send me your phone number. Car is for sale locally reserve right to end auction at anytime.
