1966 Chevelle Convertible SS, #'s matching 396, 4 speed, real 138. CA

I am selling my very clean 1966 Chevelle Convertible. Super Sport. Real 138 vin. Appears to have the #'s matching big block 396. This car has been in storage for about a year. I just pulled it out. What I can tell you about the car. Body:One of the nicest body's you will find. Car was painted in the 90's. it has NO rust. ALL ORIGINAL panels (rare). doors open and close great. all parts lines up great. Paint is not #10 show car. but very. very nice. You can see your self in the body at over 20' away like you were standing next to the car. Shows very well. It does have a couple chips. All the chrome and stainless is original and in great shape. Rear bumper has a small ding in it. The top is manual & appears to be original and in great shape. The back window is plastic and will need to be replaced. All the glass is original and in great shape. Rear end is factory 12 bolt. has rear sway bar. boxed lower control arms. factory rear trailing arm braces. Drum brakes. Front end was rebuilt to stock in the 90's and drives good. Drum brakes as well. no power steering. Motor: Appears to be the #'s matching 396. it has been beefed up. sounds like a 502. engine is full studded. full roller. quite gear drive. Trans: factory Muncie 4 speed. stock lock out shifter. Interior: appears to be original and in good shape. driver seat has 2 small tears. Carpet kit is worn out on the driver side. I have a new one in the box. Factory SS gauges and all work. knee knocker tach and works great. Wipers and all lights work. Heater works. horns work. Only thing that doesn't work is the radio. I will look into that. but couldn't hear it over the engine anyway. In some pictures I have the small caps on the rally wheel and other side has the big caps. I am unsure with i like better. I have a full set of each. you can take your pick. When the car is picked up. I will have them all matching to your choice. Clean CA title in my name. Very rare. #'s matching. You can look all over this car with a flash light. all stock panels and in great shape. no bondo. no accidents. Might trade for a pro touring hard top.
