This was a great find. Was sitting in Arizona for nearly 24 years as you can see in pictures last license plate register was 1991. Has been through a couple owners since parked but no one had the time or money to do anything with it until I found it - bought it and sent it to a professional mechanic for a second chance at life. After Gas tank dropped cleaned coated and reinstalled fuel lines cleaned New Fuel Pump. Fuel Filter. New Original Style Q-Jet Carburetor. Plugs. Wires. HEI Distributor. Alternator. Battery. Fan Clutch. All New A/C Lines and converted to 134A Chrome Factory Style Valve Covers and Gaskets. New Steering Box. Headers and 3 inch Flow Master Exhaust to the Rear. Now it Starts and Runs Excellent and drives like it should with Ice Cold Air. Someone along the line installed what looks to be date code bucket seats. I have probably for got something but any questions just ask. This Vehicle according to online Heritage El Caminos is a Custom Chassie Not a Base or SS Model. But with vin code 5th digit U car was born as a 402 Big Block 400 Turbo and 12 Bolt Rear and F-41 Suspension Package when comes with Big Blocks and still retains all original drivetrain. It had the original exhaust manifolds with smog tubes smog pump and canister which was saved to go with car when sold. Still has original Engine Spec Decal on Top Radiator Cover and also has Spec Decal in Glove Box Door. Floors. Bed and around windows are solid. This is a great 43 year old survivor that runs and drives great now. Ready for someone to put there finishing touches on it with paint and some interior work to make it there own. Has all the right equipment to make a great SS clone with out a lot of work but I can't do it to such an original car. It has a Arizona Box a Title with 92. 50 miles in my Name.
