Car description |

This 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne has a touch of that ideal sleeper style. It's a glossy white car with bright chrome bumpers. But then you add in a big block V8 with a triple-deuce setup, four-on-the-floor, and a rumbling dual exhaust, and you really get the full picture on this classic.
The '60 Biscayne is already a desirable classic. This has jet-age sweeping side trim and tailfins so large that they had to be laid on their side. And this Biscayne really represents this style nicely with glossy Ermine White paint, a clean grille, and bright chrome bumpers. So this has the look of a quality classic. But the Biscaynes were also great for another reason. These base models started out as the lighter ones of the Chevy series, and the pillared body made them stronger, too. So they made for an ideal base for a power machine. This one subtly announces it's an old-school street-eater with the large dual exhaust tips and the competition-style Torq Thrust wheels with extra wide tires in the rear.
The black interior is quite clean and complete. It looks nice with a fresher feeling on the carpeting, door panels, upholstery, headliner, and dash. This is a full-size Chevy with room for family and friends. There's even an upgraded AM/FM stereo w/Bluetooth to keep them entertained. But the real impression this clean and dark interior gives is that it wants to get down to speedy business. That's why you have bucket seats up front with classic racing-style lap belts. There's an upgraded three-spoke sports steering wheel that gives you a clear view to the sporty round gauge package. You've also got a full set of auxiliary readouts mounted cleanly under the dash. There's an upgraded classic horizon-style tach prominently mounted on the top center, and that goes well with the Hurst floor shifter.
The 1960 Chevrolet was at the dawn of big block under the hood of Chevy cars. This 348 cubic-inch V8 was the top dog of its era, and we love to see the bold orange really filling up this engine bay. And the three air grabbers on top are the unmistakable sign of a triple set of dual-barrel carburetors. This tri power setup made these Chevys feared on the streets. This one is even built to be a true driver with upgrades like the HEI distributor and aluminum radiator. The mighty big block fires up readily, and the lobe of the cam lets the idle growl a terrific power tune out of the dual exhaust. Best of all, you get complete control over the soundtrack of the big V8's fury thanks to the four-speed manual transmission. This feeds a 10-bolt Positraction rear end, and we even have receipts documenting nearly $1,500 recently spent here. Plus, power steering, a comfortable ride, and wide BF Goodrich tires mean this classic sleeper is far more enjoyable than just a stoplight racer.
This Biscayne is done with all the best classic upgraded you wanted in a street machine back in the day, and they even integrated a few of the best in modern times, too. It all makes for an irresistible custom classic. Call today!!!
