This 1990 Camaro Iroc convertible is a very nice, very clean, and very original specimen. I bought this car 10 years ago because it is similar to the car I drove in high-school. This car has been maintained as a collector throughout its life, which is why it only has about 35,000 pampered miles. The only non-original items I know of on this car are the tires (replaced), the mufflers (more throaty), and I had the hood professionally repainted (these cars had a bad tendency to get rock chips). For the time I have owned it, the car has been kept in a climate and humidity controlled garage, which is why such little patina is present on the car. From the condition, I suspect that the previous owners also took exceptional care of the car. All of the gauges, lights, wipers, horn, etc. all function like they should. The car drives, handles, and brakes as it should. The top and windows function as they should and I have not noticed leaking when the car is washed (don't drive in rain, so don't know). The only weak points on the car are the following. The stereo functions as it should, but occasionally you can barely notice a little distortion in the sound on certain bass notes. I suspect that the speakers are original and are probably getting brittle and a discriminating listener may want to replace them. Most people would not care. Second, while the top maintains a very good appearance, the rear window is starting to become cloudy. I do not find it objectionable, but to maintain a perfect appearance, this would need to be replaced. I bought this car because I had a car very similar to this in high school. Driving this car is fun and there is very little compromise from driving a brand-new car. My interest in cars is evolving more towards the 30's and 50's, so I would like to find a great home for this IROC so I can make a little room in my garage for something older. Please contact me with questions. This is a GREAT car!
