* The Story...*
I have not owned it long and the owner for the last 21 years told me he bought the car in 1998 drove it home and maybe two more times. He explained that the car ran but the carb had a vacuum leak and never fixed it. It did not matter because he was going to turn it into a race car. As you can see ... all he did was change the tires and rims along with the steering wheel.
Body: Color was originally Silver Car was repainted a two tone Blue over Black fade. Still looks nice with shine but does have scratches and a spot behind the passenger door about the three inches in diameter. Had a cover on it and did some rubbing but will compound out.I have looked all over the body can not find any previous damage...as a matter of fact I can still see some of the strips on the fender where they are mated.T-tops are the rare 1131 blue. no cracks or scratchesGlass in general is in great shape
Interior: Color was originally Silver Interior was dyed black and can be dyed back. It is missing the driver visior, Horn cap, carpet side panels that cover the tunnel, ashtray, ac side vents and probably a couple other odds and ends. Seats are still nice with no tears Driver seat is power and works. Dash look good with no cracks
Motor: Looks like it is original down to the smog pump. Missing the AC compressor and a cut line. Miles show under 44 thousand miles but I have no idea if it is correct.
I checked the oil and trans fluid and looked fine. Made sure the motor turned over by hand. I unhooked the fuel pump hose and used a gas can to supply the engine with gas. Put the battery from my Trans Am in it and she fired right up and ran pretty good. As the previous owner said ... it appeared to have a vacuum leak.
Car has a ton of options...Power door locksPower windowsPower Driver seatCruise ControlAir ConditioningPower brakesPower Steering
I put the vin in so you can decode it.
The Trim Tag says: Trim 152 and 13L paint
Nice Vintage Cragar SST Chrome wheels and tires. only three center caps
Still has original spare tire under the rear.
I know one of the headlight vacuum canisters will need to be replaced because the previous owner said so and it is in one of the rear compartments.
I put a ton of pics to show its condition...please review and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.
