1934 Chevrolet Coupe
With its wind-swept design and classic good looks, Chevrolet Coupe series has always been a rare and highly desirable line of cars. Not surprisingly, gearheads, customizers and all but 80 years' worth of dedicated fans have elevated it to one of hot rodding's greatest cultural icons.
For consignment an Outlaw bodied and chassied 1934 Chevrolet 3 window coupe rodded, deep purple, racy, raucous, raring, and ready to go...fast! Nicely done and all buttoned up inside, outside and underside with a killer power plant under the long ghost flamed cowled hood. 1934 never dreamed of looking so good!
Exterior
Excellent fenders that look like they have spent hours on the English wheel flank the closed cowled, fronted by a clean stainless rod vertical ribbed grille. A single chromed bezeled and encased in fiberglass rounded surrounded is topping each front fender, and a simple curved bumper nearly perfect and shiny hangs from the bottom. The fenders curve up and down and sport a rubber covered running board that melts into another set of curved rear fenders. A single door for each side floats above the running board and a chopped rounded roof with the 3 windows giving this car its name, creating the passenger compartment. The back of the car could best be described as a nice ass, with its gracefully curved down trundled matching the curve of the rear fenders. On the rear roll pan below the trunk are single taillights custom made and are chrome trimmed horizontal small bars embedded into the rear panel and doing so seamlessly. On the bottom another curved bumper finishes the curves off. For the wheels 15-inch Billet Specialties polished 5 spoke wheels are wrapped with like new Michelin black wall rubber. The body is bathed in deep purple and has ghost flames licking rearward on the hood cowling, and the stance of this car is very impressive.
Interior
When you think totally custom build you'll think of the interior of this car. Just the door panels are worth some gazing time with their custom embossed 3D molded textured plastic designs, all in a field of tan textured tweed. Billet handles and a purple and black horizontal bowtie and checkered flag badge are all in the playing field. Inside more custom, with textured tweed covering overstuffed "tulip styled" and stitched rounded high back buckets complete with "'34" embroidered on the headrests. These are fully adjustable to cozy up to the custom dash which is bathed in more deep purple and has a snazzy horizontal triple color pinstripe, which creates a bowtie on the driver's side and provides background the '34 Coupe in red script paint on in front of the passenger. In the center is a polished aluminum flattened oval with all LED red digital gauges with thick surrounding billet style aluminum bezels. Just below is a custom fabricated center console which houses the climate sliders, and window toggles. A/C has been installed. Nice and clean black carpet floods the interior. The headliner, not to be outdone, is more textured tweed covering flamed pattern embossing. and an upper mounted console which houses the stereo unit. A "surfers cross" pattern insert metal billet style and surrounding gray padding covers a rally steering wheel. I'd say custom fer sher!
Drivetrain
Talk about industrial looking eye candy with this mill which is a 350ci V8 topped by a 4-barrel carburetor, and Weiand Stealth Intake manifold. This mill is backed up by a TH350 3-speed automatic, pushing power rearward to those 15-inch wheels via a 9-inch Ford rear. All polished or machined aluminum billet style under here, and just beautiful shades of gray. It's that nice I'll need a safe word!
Undercarriage
A custom build also includes the undercarriage and this one does not leave any stones unturned. A deep purple Outlaw chassis frame supports pristine purple floorpans and running boards with strong hangers for the running boards. An independent coilover front suspension and disc brakes for the front, and a 4 link with coilovers with power drum brakes are reserved for the rear. Headers which magically melt into rust free pipes with shiny Flowmaster exhaust are seen underneath, snaking their way rearward.
Drive-Ability
A super quick fire up from the mill, and it was off to the test track. Here it ran just great, with snappy acceleration, smooth shifting and a very easy car to drive with power steering and brakes, coupled with the automatic transmission. All functions were working just fine!
A wonderful meticulous attention to detail and total custom build, all around the beautiful Outlaw fiberglass body and Outlaw strong frame rod which any crowd will ogle as it sits and shows or drives down main street. An easy turnkey driver, and all you have to do is listen to the "nice car" comments and turn the key when you've had your fill of said comments. Smoke on the blacktop, and fire in the skies.
