1966 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE 4 SPEED (GARAGE FIND AND HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE IT)

This car was a true garage find. sitting on jack stands and inoperable. Aired up the tires. new battery and starting fluid. and she fired right up. After searching for numbers throughout the car. as was told it was NOT the original block but WAS a period correct block. The car was purchased by the previous owner in 1986 with the odometer showing $13. 21 miles. Currently the odometer is showing 59. 10 believed to be accurate but I will not guarantee. Searching other numbers around the car. I find all other numbers to be correct both visually and by date even down to all glass. The interior including carpet. seats. dash pads are original and in very good shape. The drivers door panel is original but passenger is not. Visors are original I do not think that the side pipes are original to the car do to seeing ground straps. The wheels are knock offs. The original color of the car was Mosport Green with green interior. and make a very attractive and desirable color combination. The frame has only very minor surface rust and will clean up with a wire brush. This is a California to Colorado and then Texas car. garage kept its entire life. It is a great find and the one you have been waiting for. What the car needs: As you can see from the pictures. the rear plastic window has a split. The car with need a new fuel pump or rebuild. as well as the carb. I would go through the brake system. It is a none power steering and non power disc car. I do not have the original hood. Looks to me like a repo 67 Stinger hood. This would make a very good driver or a great restoration !You can reach me by cell.
