You're instantly attracted to this 1937 Chevrolet coupe because it's an attractive sleek black machine. But as you dig deeper you're going to find it absolutely irresistible. It's a full custom build that has a fuel-injected V8, overdrive transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, custom/comfy A/C interior, and the right street machine custom touches to make it an all-around show-stopping cruiser.
The first thing to grab your attention is the paint. The black has a touch of the sinister side you want on a street machine. And just as important, the deep gloss really lets the sunshine show off the quality of the sheetmetal. After all, we love these pre-war Chevys for their curves, and this one loves to show off how those rounded fenders meet the steel running boards. There are nice classic elements, like the bright chrome bumpers and stainless waterfall grille. Plus, there are great well-integrated upgrades, like the clear blue-dot headlamps, color-matched sport mirrors, and polished 15-inch American Racing Torq Thrust wheels. And we particularly like how this one loves to give us few unexpected details, like the forward tilt of the hood and the suicide doors with remote poppers.
This Chevy has timeless style, so it's great to have a saddle tan interior to give this a timeless color combo against the exterior black. It starts with the ultra-leather modern bucket seats that have the kind of soft feel you'd want in a modern Cadillac. The door panels, headliner, trunk, and carpet piping are all done to match in this well-coordinated package. There's a custom center console that houses the power window switches, cup holders, power outlet, and more. There are some more desirable modern features including cold-blowing R134a air conditioning and a pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo with remote and aux input to plug in your iPod. But this is more than just a coddler. It's a driving machine. That's why there's a Lokar shifter and a banjo-style steering wheel on tilt steering column. And the smooth black dash is dominated by a full set of Classic Instruments gauges.
Tilt the hood forward to reveal a clean presentation with a bright aluminum radiator and a cool custom engine cover. Beneath this will show that this classic Chevy has a much more modern heart. It's a 5.3-liter fuel-injected V8 that even has a nice set of shorty headers feeding the dual exhaust. This setup is known for serious power, but it's also built to add practicality, too. And that's exactly how to see this street rod - a sleek custom machine that's really meant to be an easy driver. You see it in features such as the Heidts Mustang II-style tubular front end, strengthened chassis, and a thick rear sway bar on the rear. The four-speed automatic transmission is great for all-around driving with its highway-ready overdrive. Plus, there's power steering, wide BF Goodrich T/As, and four-wheel power disc brakes.
We have build receipts documenting a $30k investment over a multi-year build, and there are even restoration photos to show this transformation, too. Great paint and great features means this coupe won't be with us for a great amount of time. Call today!!!
