This amazing barn find is a 1965 Corvair two-door air car with a 140hp engine. I don't know if it was a factory 140 car, but it definitely has a 140. The car has many upgrades including completely rebuilt engine and carbs. Fuel system and brakes have been gone through. Interior has been completely refinished with new headliner. Dual exhaust. Runs and drives very nice. Tires have lots of tread, but I wouldn't trust them. Most of the air conditioning components are present. I understand that there are after-market compressors available that work much better than the factory ones did on these cars. The body is very good for its age. It appears to be mostly a virgin car with some filler. It does show some rust in the typical places for a Corvair. Floor pans are very good except for one small spot that was repaired. Trunk floor is good. Factory spare mount is present. This is a great driver and a good candidate for a total restoration if someone wanted to do the body work.
