I have owned this car for over 20 years, and it is still a fun ride. Engine runs well, transmission is fine, exhaust system is fine, tires have good tread but are old, Heat/AC work well. Much of the interior is fresh and it has no major trim issues, power windows work well. It is a good base for someone who can repair the issues it does have to get it back to the level it requires to pass a state inspection. Specifically, the headlamps: in spite of having replaced both motors about 3 years ago and having them perform flawlessly, both have recently exhibited erratic functioning and I have unplugged them to stop them from drawing on the new battery (really the only thing from passing state inspection I think). I am no electrical expert, but I suspect the problem is in the electrical system and some light metal components in the front engine bay have corroded and may be causing this (see photos).

Additional issues are paint (needs a complete repaint), radio has never worked since the day I bought it and I never bothered to repair it as I enjoy listening to the engine, fuel level indicator stuck on high (running some RedLine fuel treatment through it might clear it, but it doesn’t get driven enough now), the plastic gear selection indicator went missing a few years back but not a real problem, rear glass defogger needs a connection re-attached.

Will include: Chevy/GM Shop Manual, Automotive Touchup Brand:1 spray can red sandable primer, and 1 can each Clearcoat and Clearcoat Hardener (both of these never opened but old), and 1 new rear hatch weatherstrip.
