1959 Parkwood Wagon348, Frame Off....
This 59 wagon has had what I call a frame off patina restoration. The car was taken completely down but the body was left like it was found. The pictures show some of the process and I have more. The car is an Arizona car and the build was done there before we acquired it. It has the very desired 348 V8 backed by a 350 automatic transmission. It has Power steering and power brakes. New windshield. New tires. New interior etc. The car has a ton of character and gets a ton of attention.A lot of work has been done on the car and tons of new stuff. The stainless trim and door sill plates were taken off polished. There are a few things that still could be done if you so choose such as new door seals, window fuzzies, and little things like that. The car drives good and runs good but will tend to load up some when idling. I am sure it should be just a carb adjustment. The vacuum advance is not hooked up so it could be that as well. We had a hurricane hit prior to getting the car so we have just to much going on to have done anything with it so far.The car is super cool, the patina body is cool and shows its original scars and character of dents and rust. (Body only). Meant to be left just that way! The gauges are currently not all working. The car does have new wiring/fuse block harness!!You are welcome to view the car in person or have someone look for you, prior to bidding, as your opinion could vary. This is a BUY IT NOW or best offer auction so no need to wait and lose out on this desirable car!
