Car description

This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette is a first-year Sting Ray with upgraded V8 power, four-on-the-floor, and the unmistakable fun of driving a top-down sports car that was built for the American road.
Chevrolet entered a whole new dimension in 1963. The first-ever Sting Ray brought their sports car program into its own stratosphere of cool. It blended sharp lines and soft curves like no car before it. That's how you can have a crisp crease that encircles the entire waist of the car and still have smoothed fenders that rise above the body for a sporty flair. This distinct design always looks good in a glossy red. And of course, as a 1960s machine there's plenty of brightwork. The two-piece chrome bumpers, rocker trim, windshield surround, correct wheel covers, and first-year hood vent time all shine with extra care. It's even stylish with the roof in place thanks to the white convertible top coordinating with the white line tires.
While this looks great with the roof in place, a convertible loves to be open to the world. So it's nice to see a clean black interior timelessly contrasting the exterior red. This retains all the right vintage elements from the dual cowl dash to the working clock. But this one is also a car made to be enjoyed, and so you also have well-integrated upgrades, like an AM/FM stereo w/cassette, and an armrest center console. They combine with the standard driver-oriented layout that they put into a Corvette on day one. The bucket seats, grippy sports steering wheel, and full gauges with large speedo and tach - it's all there for when you're ready to hit the open road.
This has proper small block V8 power under the hood, but while all the '63s were 327 cars, this one has a larger 350 cubic-inch heart. This larger motor fires up readily as it inhales deeply with the Holley four-barrel carburetor. There are some of us who love these first C2s because they how they keep you connected with the road. Plus, the four-speed maul transmission gives you full control while delivering butter-smooth shifts. And don't forget, this is the debut of the fully independent suspension Corvette.
This is a solid representation of what you love about the a first-year C2. It's a car for those who like to drive their classic and still be impressive upon arrival. Call today!!!
