1972 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, 55000 miles, 350 with Turbo 400 trans

1972 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, at some point in vehicle’s history, car was stolen and the original green was painted over white. State of Tennessee issued a new title for the car when it was recovered. We purchased the car in 1979 and have owned it ever since. Corvette has less than 55,000 miles and was maintained regularly when driven.

Has aftermarket rims but three original rims and trim rings are included in this sale. Before the car was stored for 23 years all gauges were working except for the tachometer and clock. Currently items needing attention are the A/C, tachometer, radio, fuel gauge, clock, and windshield washer pump. Passenger headlight was opening properly but is not at this time. The convertible top will not attach at the rear due to the extended storage. Hardtop is also included in this auction. Tires are beginning to dry rot and will need replacing. Paint is showing its age and is chipped and bubbling in some places, see pictures. Transmission is leaking fluid too.
