1970 Chevy C-10 Shortbed Stepside

Comments from seller when I purchased this truck in Feb 2018: We would like to show off a semi-survivor truck that needs a new home. It is MOSTLY original with a couple little tweaks here and there. It has been meticulously maintained over the years and at first glance, the care is very noticeable. It also had a left- rear fender that had a spare tire wedge from the factory but the previous owner decided against the cut-out so he replaced the fender with another and put a doughnut spare underneath the bed. Personal taste also came into play when they lowered the front and back. The original paint (rare Green) is still on it other than a few spots that needed a touch-up. The truck is also amazingly straight. The headlights, front turn signals and brake lights are LED's. Underneath the hood is a surprisingly strong, original V8 (307)(casting #3970020) with a 2bbl carburetor. The breather is painted the same as the truck color. The clean engine compartment also hosts power steering, factory AC (NEW compressor), NEW 1-wire alternator, NEW Interstate battery and more. The transmission in this classic is a manual 3-speed on the column. (Three on the Tree) It is a stock 12 bolt rear axle. Excel-G gas shocks. Inside you will find a re-cushioned, vinyl, fold down, bench seat, a steel dash, aftermarket Kicker Audio Control to play music from mobile devices, NEW carpet and aluminum cup holder. The step-side bed has been upgraded to a slatted wood style floor with painted steel. (same color of truck)The tires are Yokohama Radials.225/60R-17 fronts235/65R-17 back. Aluminum American Racing Wheels on all 4's.
This new listing would like to add that there is "patina" or thin on paint on roofline and and the crease in the hood where the pinstripe is. I had the A/C worked on when I bought it, the A/C was blowing cool at the time. The nuts at the O rings/POA valve were loose, had repair shop replace O rings and tighten nuts. A/C blew cold, but now blowing cool at best. Truck also comes with a truck cover purchased about 2 months ago. A/C and truck are sold "AS IS". I have not had time to play with this truck as much as I thought I would, only put about 500 miles on it in the 2.5 years I have owned it.
