Car description

We could tell you this 1971 Chevrolet C10 is a mean machine custom, but your eyes already told you that with its first impression. So look over all the details where there the investment also included the A/C interior and performance-built V8. And you soon get the full picture on a great total package with a big intimidation factor.

This truck must live by the motto "Chrome won't get you home." Every piece of brightwork was blacked out on this C10, and that makes it look awesome. The mirrors, door handles, wipers, and window trim are all black. And they didn't have to worry about the bumpers, because they were expertly eliminated. Of course, your favorite dark side piece will be the Phantom billet grille that stretches the over the whole front end to conceal the headlights. It makes for a truly aggressive face that's hiding its eyes. And the full back wheel with raised white lettering looks like it was borrowed from NASCAR. So this one really looks like it earns the Chevrolet Racing logo on the tailgate. And everything from the cowl hood to the side exhaust tips continue this truck's added sporty appeal. It's all wrapped in a bold maroon. It has a metallic element that draws attention at the stoplights, but the whole finish is far from perfect. We kind like how it fits with the truck's aggressive and ready attitude (heck, even the liner paint means you can use it as a real pickup.) But those who want a show-stopper can see the value price as a way to leave room in your budget to upgrade to your own personal tastes.

The first thing you'll notice when you open the door is the fresh seat with cool houndstooth fabric inserts. It gives this classic truck a classic muscle car feeling. And because it's done in red, this is the centerpiece that ties in the doors, carpeting, and dash for a well-done total presentation. More of this thoughtful execution come with the truck's comfort features. You have an AM/FM/CD stereo with modern Bluetooth, and the air conditioning is blowing cold with modern R134a refrigerant. The upgraded sports steering wheel continues the black and red attitude, and it gives you a clear view to the newer gauge package.

The V8 looks good in the engine bay with a ribbed Edelbrock air grabber and matching valve covers. There are even nice supporting pieces like an Optima red top battery and an aluminum radiator. But what you'll really love is the substance you see as you dig a little deeper. It's a 400 cubic-inch V8, which was one of the largest small block ever offered. It's been enhanced with go-fast goodies, like a Holley four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and long tube headers that feed an H-pipe dual exhaust. Getting the V8's power to the ground is a stout combo of a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission and a 12-bolt rear end. Plus, there's power steering, power brakes, and front discs to keep this an easy driving performance pickup.

This is a distinctly different custom truck, and we even have $4k in recent receipts documenting investments in the A/C and motor. You know you can't let something this cool and unique slip away. Call today!!!
