MY DOG JOHNNY CASH WOULD NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE DEAL FOR ALL OF THE MONEY IN THE WORLD!
$18,500 BUYS IT! I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THE AUCTION AT ANY TIME SINCE THE CAR IS ADVERTISED FOR THAT PRICE LOCALLY.
PLEASE CALL ME AT 76O 805-8O3EIGHT WITH ANY QUESTIONS.INTERNATIONAL AND OVERSEAS BUYERS WELCOME!
Pictures do not come close to getting across what Grandma's Little Monster is, but please click on the YouTube link above to see a short walk around video to get a better idea of why everybody loves this Nova.
If you are shy or trying to blend in, this is probably not the car for you. You could not come close to building this car from scratch for the asking price. This is a killer, all steel, street legal 1963 Chevrolet Nova two door Post that is ready to have some fun. This car is very drivable but please, be realistic and know what you are looking at. This thing is evil when you want it to be. It is loud, mean, and extremely fast. The previous owner said it ran 6.50s in the 1/8 mile with the NOS which equates to around a low 10 second 1/4 mile. That was with the old 4.10 gears however. I had the rearend completely gone through last week at Oceanside Driveline (they do great work!) and it now has new 3.50 gears installed so the car is much more drivable. I have never personally raced the Nova at Barona but I have had 9, 10, and 11 second cars before and know what they feel like. This car is the real deal.
It is 406 C.I. small block Chevy that runs great on Premium pump gas. ARP studs, Comp Cam, roller rockers, GM Performance Parts aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake, Mighty Demon 850 cfm carburetor, Eagle rotating assembly, Keith Black pistons, total seal rings, MSD ignition, Hooker Super Comp powder coated Fenderwell headers, mufflers/exhaust, Nitrous Oxide Systems kit, Turbo 350 w/10" converter, TCI reverse manual valve body, B&M flex plate, Hurst Quarter Stick shifter, Ford 9 inch Locker rearend, 3.50 gears, billet 31 spline axles, Cal Tracs traction bars, 8 point roll cage with swing out side bar, fuel cell/Nitrous bottle/battery mounted in trunk, battery cutoff switch under the tail light, Autometer Monster tach, original gauge cluster still in dash, Autometer gauges, MSD rich/lean indicator, electric fan, electric water pump, aluminum radiator. Mini tubbed with 11.5 inch Hoosier Quick Time DOT approved tires, rally wheels, padded fiberglass bucket seats with harnesses. It also has a Chevy Performance Parts tubular front suspension which is about a million times better than any that Chevy ever equipped these early Novas with.
The body is very nice. It is a rust free, lifelong California black plate car. It is straight. The paint is older driver quality. The floorboards, trunk pan, and frame are beautiful. The engine compartment is extremely clean and nicely detailed. Fresh Air induction set up. Wilwood disc brakes on the front. This is a killer turnkey street/strip Sleeper Hot Rod that is ready to go. I have a huge folder of receipts for the car and what has been done to it.Clean, clear CA title in hand with current 2020 registration.
I would consider doing some horsetrading on an interesting Corvette, Muscle Car, or a steel body Hot Rod. Please be realistic with your trades. Just because you don't want your junk any more doesn't mean that I do either. You see a Camaro, Mustang, or 57 Chevyall of the time. When was the last time you saw a Nova like this? I am located in Cardiff, CA in North County Coastal San Diego. Inspections in person are encouraged.
I can help with transportation either getting it loaded on a truck or assisting you however I can at the buyer's expense. Inspections are encouraged but must be completed before the end of the auction. $1000 non refundable deposit due at auction end and remaining balance due within three working days. Payment must be in the form of cash in person or via certified bank wire transfer. I do my best to accurately describe the vehicle to the best of my abilities. Any descriptions or representations are for identification purposes only and are NOT to be construed as a warranty of any type. It is the responsibility of the BUYER to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The SELLER shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. The BUYER is responsible for any/all shipment costs involved in transportation of the vehicle. References for shippers are available upon request. This Nova is being sold "as is, where is".
