Up for bid, one '66 Chevy II 100 four door sedan. During restoration this vehicle was disassembled down to a gutted shell with no expense spared. The head was removed and rebuilt with hardened valve seats, a new windshield was installed, NOS or restored trim used throughout, NOS material used on the seat covers, $ 1000.00 spent re chroming each bumper, dash pad recovered, lowered 2 inches, front suspension rebuilt with camber lockout kit, and ball bearing idler arm upgrades. Power disc brakes were also installed. The radio was converted to FM and a 8 disc cd changer is mounted in the trunk, although currently not working. Show quality throughout and runs and drives well. There are some small random chips that weren't sanded prior to painting the original mist blue which is a shame because the paint is excellent. An example is the close up photo showing a chip in the lower front corner of the drivers door. Also, visible is the only rust I've found in the body: minor blisters that haven't worsened in the 12 years I've owned this car. Auction could be ended early as it is for sale locally. Payment is expected within a week of auctions end. Pick up is expected within three weeks of auctions. Buyer is responsible forpick up. Please notify me of exceptions prior to bidding.
