Car description |
---|
We have a very nice, well documented(since it was brand new from the dealership) 1963 Corvette Convertible with both hard and soft tops for sale. We are the 6th owner and have information on all the 5 previous owners in a large binder. This binder includes everything bought and done to this car over the past 57 years!
The 1st OWNER was an AirForce Pilot stationed at McGuire Base in NJ. It was ordered & shipped to Ridgeway Chev.Motors dealership in New Egypt, NJ & was listed in their inventory as a demonstrator, but was actually ordered for the owner's Father-In-Law who wanted a "Toy". It was kept garaged at his home an, according to a neighbor, driven old rarely. It had 4,000 miles on it when it was sold to the AirForce Pilot, the actual first owner. He purchased this Corvette as a "new-demonstrator" on Jan. 28, 1965 (as shown on Bill of Sale that we have). He kept the car routinely serviced & well maintained for 32 years. The 2nd OWNER kept the Corvette for about a year & sold it in l998.The 3rd OWNER had the engine rebuilt by Spear's Auto. Service Co. in 2003 & he kept the Corvette until 2006 when he sold it to the 4th owner. The 4th OWNER purchased the '63 Corvette & immediately started a frame-off complete restoration that was finished in 2008 & then he sold the Corvette in 2012.The 5th OWNER bought the Corvette in July 23, 20l2 and he had it NCRS "Judged" on Dec. 20, 2012 and received a "Top Flight" award and has all the scoring sheets and ribbon to go with the car. He unfortunately suddenly passed away. I purchased the car in Jan. l9, 20l8 from his Widow. This Ermine White, all numbers matching Corvette was built in St.Louis Corvette Assembly Plant on May 8, 1963. It was ordered with White Softtop matching the Ermine White Hardtop. It's options: a 250 HP 327, Black Vinyl Interior, AM/FM Signal Seeking Delco Radio, Power Steering (1 of 3,063), 4 Speed Manual Transmission & White Wall Tires.I have a very large Binder with everything that was done to this Corvette and all the paperwork and pictures of not only the 1st Owner but other pictures as well taken over the years. We will gladly send you more pictures of all these documents and of the car also. If you contact me thru Ebay, we can discuss this further. You will not be disappointed in the l963 Corvette as it has been well taken care of all these years!
