It would be my preference that the successful bidder come and inspect the truck prior to making final payment. If not completely satisfied after an in person prepayment inspection, I will gladly provide a full "Deposit" refund. If however you decide to arrange shipment without inspection, I will not give partial refunds or accept a return. As should be realized, with an older restoration and an aging owner, little things have not been maintained. The following are some things that need attention but not necessarily a complete list. Speedo doesn't work.....never has since I have owned it. The Emergency Brake is properly attached but very stiff.......pulleys probably need lubrication. It has a fiberglass floor board. The front bumper was showing chrome loss so I sanded it and painted it. The front grill was purchased in 1988 from Jim Carter's.......it is showing it's age with some rust. The air conditioning system sometimes allows bumble bees to enter the cab. :-) The dash board throttle cable control is not hooked to the carb. It has a brand new radial spare on a special new wheel made to fit the 6 lug. It still retains it's original transmission and rear end..........red lines at 50 mph. Brakes are good. I drove in back and forth to work from 1989-1993. (10 miles a day) 1994-present driven periodically. The front end has a shimmy damper attached.....works great. The headlight switch work 25% of the time........I have a new switch but haven't installed yet.....I don't drive it after dark. The body is straight but paint is showing scratches and wear. This truck was restored to be a driver.....not for show.
