We're excited to offer this beautifully finished, first generation Camaro for your consideration! Truly an iconic American car, finished with care in an awesome color combination, this is a great collectible car to consider for your garage.
Our client purchased this car approximately 6 years ago after the restoration of the car had been done. The exterior is in beautiful condition and the body has a slight forward rake thanks to an extra leaf being added to the rear springs. LeMans Blue hugs the sculpted curves of this first generation Camaro, with white stripes providing some contrast. The car left the Norwood Factory in May 1969. A slow walk around the exterior of this car gives you time to take in all the details. From the front end that wears a lower front lip and egg crate grille, to the rear spoiler, this car is pleasing to the eyes! Rally wheels with GoodYear white letter tires finish off the look of this true Z/28 first generation Camaro.
Currently finished in the factory correct black vinyl (code 712), the fit and finish of the interior is very nice and shows very well. Bucket seats, factory tach, gauge package, console, wood grain trim, and the pairing of the performance oriented Hurst shifter and wood grain steering wheel are highlights of the interior.
Under the hood is an extremely clean, date code correct, DZ engine mated to a 4-speed Muncie Transmission. The underside of the car is very clean with solid floors and sills framing the fuel tank, front disc brakes, and 12 Bolt rear axle with 3.73 gears and posi-traction. We're happy to offer this gorgeous Z/28 that is ready for a new home, and ready to be driven. This iconic American car is finished in an awesome color combination and is a great collectible car to consider for your garage.
