Car description |

In my opinion, you couldn't find a better builder for the money! My son was building this car for me in 2010 when he passed away. It has been sitting in storage since then. I don't want to be that old man that says he is going to get around to finishing it one day when I know that my age, health and knowledge prevents me from doing it. This car is nice and deserves a person that knows rebuilding old cars is like painting a masterpiece. It can only be as good as the canvas you start with!!! This was a nice car, but I wanted a color change and while your doing that you get hooked on several upgrades.
This was the car of several I had that I was keeping for myself. It was mostly cancer free except for some small holes in the trunk near the rear covered drains at the rear of the trunk. The trunk is solid even in these sections and I would think could be repaired easily, but I would worry about them. The car was completely media blasted and painted in a hard gloss primer that has killed that rust in the trunk. The floors of the car as a solid as I have ever seen and there was no rust in the front fenders, doors, rocker panels or rear quarters. There was a scrape about 20 inches long in the rear passenger side rear quarter. Replacing in it was the last thing my son had done to the car. You will see some surface rust around that area and some areas that he had fixed and sanded down.
Most of the car is painted in sand-able yellow primer that did not weather the last 10 years like the hard grey initial primer. Some of it in places has started to peel off.
Here's a list of the things I know about the car. None of the parts have been cleaned up in the last 10 years.
Body was cancer free except the small holes in the small areas of the trunkI had two donor cars that I striped a lot of stainless and spare partsNew Rallye Wheels with new tires 15 inch 5 lugComplete front disc brake kit including tubular A arms, calipers, disc, servo, master cylinder, spindles, hosesAt least two sets of side glass and probably 2 1/2 or 3Super solid floors you just don't see very often327 with double hump high performance headsNew rear sump oil pan to allow V8 install with original steering linksClassic Performance V8 motor mount adaptorsCast Iron Powerglide that has about 3,000 miles on pro rebuildNew red carpetDriver quality interior. Sort of cool how nice the seats are!!!New rubber for doors, vent windows and trunkComplete new bolt set in individual bags with identification for the boltsI don't have a front windshield for the carI don't have a steering column (I was going to buy an Ididit column)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION - PLEASE READWinning bidder that doesn't want the motor and transmission, I will reduce the winning bid by $500Out of state or international bidders, I will have the hood and trunk installed and can pack all parts inside except the motor and transmission. I can have the motor and transmission bolted in for an additional reasonable price not more than $400.
Please email me for any questions or additional pictures.

Two Items that are missing that I hadn't thought about. Radiator and gas tank. We were going to replace them both but never bought the new ones. Please bid accordingly. Thanks, Mike
