Local consignment, no dealer tax. We have sold our fair share of C3's in our 19 years of operating. This is one of the nicest ones we have come by, and its a 4-speed to boot. Current owner has owned for over 24 years. I am an acquaintance of the owner, and I can assure you he is the type of person that you should be thrilled about purchasing a car from. He is extremely organized(has binder of all receipts) and mindful of who we lets touch his vehicles. Purchased with 88,000 miles back in 94. Owner repainted in 2000(the original color), swapped out the automatic trans for a 4-spd in 2003(Performance Transmissions Clinton, IL), new carpet, seats, wheels and tires in 2006.(still has original wheels. pictures of them included in ad in addition to photos of the car with original wheels on the car when owner originally puirchased the car) Converted the A/C 98-99. Only issue that owner is aware of is the Vacuum canistor needs replaced. He purchased a replacement canistor out of a 79 Corvette(included w/ purchase), just never made time to replace, nor was it a very pressing for him because he only drove on nice, sunny days. Also, the fuel light stays on. This car is very nice, with very few flaws.
