You'd expect to pay handsomely for a 1977 Chevrolet K5 Blazer that has a great vintage look, A/C interior, and the V8 power to still get the job done. But this cool convertible 4x4 really does offer all you want, and does it for an obtainable price.
There are a lot less of these round headlight K5s running around these days. So, the classic Chevy front end really gives this one extra distinction. And the vintage look plays well with this Blazer's very classic style. It has a distinct gray and white two tone with the premium Cheyenne trim providing a well-defined boarder along the body. Even the white fiberglass top coordinates with the overall look. The finish is more of a survivor style, and in fact, this still has a dealer tag that suggests it was sold new only about 30 minutes from our dealership. The value price leaves room in the budget if you want to give this one a respray, but we already like the looks. After all, some people will assume it's original, and it has the right tone so that you won't be afraid to use this 4x4 to the fullest.
The red interior has quite a bold look against the exterior colors. So it gives you another very compelling reason to take off the removable hardtop and share this with the world. You even have a sunroof to amplify the open-air experience. The classic premium Cheyenne trim influence is seen inside with plenty of wood-like trim. And just like the exterior, while there is room for improvement, there's also an undeniable vintage cool. This is an ideal setup where the rear seats are done in a durable vinyl and the front buckets are extra comfortable with velour upholstery and a cup holder center console. The dual-spoke steering wheel is mounted on a tilt column to give you a good view of the gauges. In fact, the dash that wraps around the driver also gives you access to nice features like the Delco AM/FM radio and factory air conditioning.
Under the hood is Chevy's hardy 350 cubic-inch V8. Topped with a four-barrel carburetor, this one fires up with the kind of eagerness that signals it received the right care over the years. The V8 inhales deeply though a proper four-barrel carburetor. This power is great in a go-anywhere 4x4 that has a tall stance and two-speed transfer case for the best off-road performance. But a good Blazer like this has the right features to tackle the street or trail. That's why it has great anytime driving features like the TH350 three-speed automatic transmission, power steering, and power brakes with discs up front.
This is the classic full-size Blazer that has a lot to offer beyond its value price. So don't let this deal slip away.
