1986 Chevrolet C-10 Short Wide Beauty 355ci 400hp

Up for auction is one of my most favorite vehicles of my collection. I am selling off my collection of vehicles due to vision loss from a rare optic nerve disorder i have that has limited me to where i can no longer drive. This truck is nothing but beautiful. I restored it a few years back from top to bottom. Starting out as a rust free vehicle from central oregon it had great bones from the start. It was straight and rust free and took very little body work to have her ready for paint. Using the best of dupont products we striped the truck to bare metal, epoxy primed and blocked the truck with guide coat untill it was straight as an arrow. ALL windows were pulled for the paint job and interior jambs and underhood were painted also. We also replaced all window gaskets and weatherstrip. The truck has a beautiful factory color paint with added metallic. And 3 coats of glamour clear coat. All the chrome and trim is in perfect shape. The bed has been color match bed lined. The wheels and tires are brand new.-New blow moulded plastic door panels, newer seat. original carpet and dash- All suspension and bushings have been replaced, new ball joints and tie rods, alighnment, new front power disc brakes and new rear drum brakes. All new shocks and springs also- Front suspension is a 2" spindle drop and rear is bolt in c channeled to give a little better of a ride- Engine is a gear driven timing built 355 4 bolt main with built heads all roller and an edelbrock carb. Headers with full flowmaster exhaust and a healthy cam, engine is about 400hp. Sounds amazing and has tons of power. Rear diff is a factory 10 bolt with 308 gears so it cruises nice on the highway at 65 and low rpm. Buolt th350 with shift kit.
This truck is amazing. The paint is beautiful and it drives straight and smooth....absolutely no mechanical issues and does not leak or burn any fluids.
Only thing it needs is new hood hinges as they are worn out and have some play. Only other thing i was going to do to call it 100% qas front wheel well tubs and paint the entire engine bay to match
Undercarraige is original and rust free. No heavy coating to hide ugly secrets. Bid with confidence and to win the chance to own this beautiful ride! Im soo sad to see her go but its time.
