1986 Chevrolet K5 Blazer, 5.9 Cummins, NV4500, 3/4 Ton Axles

1986 Chevrolet K5 Blazer with Cummins 6BT1993 Cummins 5. 9L 6BTNVG4500 5 Speed Transmission NP208 Transfer Case3/4 Ton Axles. 4. 10 Ratio 4" Suspension LiftVehicle starts right up and is very comfortable to drive. it is ready for some off road fun! Brakes work. wipers work. headlights/turn signals/brake lights work. door locks work. Good clutch pedal feel. I changed clutch master cylinder bore sizes until the pedal feel was comfortable to drive with. Body is in decent shape. there are plenty of dents and blemishes but. as I see it. this vehicle is all about the drivetrain. The previous owner told me the engine has approximately 150k miles on it. but the speedometer was disconnected when I purchased it. I have not calculated its MPG. The truck is capable of highway speeds (~55-65). but it was built with the intention of it being an off-pavement vehicle. I've not found any serious penetrating rust. but there is surface rust in some areas. I don't see this vehicle as "needing" anything. but it is nearly 30 years old. and it is not a restoration. and different people have different definitions of what a vehicle "needs".
