This Camaro has the looks and a great list of upgrades. Built to run strong and hard!
EXTERIOR: Here's a sharp looking car. Great shade of blue without a vinyl top. Silver hockey stick stripe and some silver accents on the cowl hood sets it off. It also features sport mirrors, spoilers chrome louvers on the quarter panels. The body is solid, it doesn't have any bubbles or significant issues. The paint is polished very smooth and glossy. New bumpers, grill and emblems. Ridler 17 inch wheels.
INTERIOR: Brand new set of whiteface custom gauges. It also has a new dash pad and a cushion grip steering wheel. New deluxe upholstery on the seats. In the center is a custom made console. It houses a B&M Quicksilver shifter and a modern stereo. There are Kenwood 6x9 speakers in the back. The carpet was replaced and also has embroidered floor mats. Headliner was replaced. Door panels were replaced, the edge of the driver's side is worn through.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The 454 was completely rebuilt. Bored 30 over, it has a 540 lift Summit cam, Comp springs, big port heads, 3 angle valve job, 10.25 to 1 compression and high volume water oil pump. On top it has high an aluminum intake, dual feed Holley carb with braided hose and a fuel regulator with gauge. It also has an HEI ignition system, tall valve covers, K&N filter and Hooker headers. The motor runs cool with a BeCool aluminum radiator two electric fans and an aluminum high volume water pump. Features include power steering and power brakes. It has an external vacuum can because of the performance camshaft. It looks like the wiring harness in the engine compartment has been replaced. It has aluminum pulleys, the battery is bolted down, bottom of the hood is painted blue. There is no heat system. For about $3,000 a new heat and air conditioning system can be installed.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Solid metal. New trunk floor and the quarter panels have been replaced. Bottom of the trunk lid and the jamb are painted, weatherstrip was replaced.
UNDERSIDE: The front end has been rebuilt. Upgraded polyurethane red bushings. Shocks were replaced. There's frame connectors attaching the front a d rear suspension. In back it is upgraded with a 4 link suspension with tubular upper and lower control arms, lanyard bar and adjustable coil over gas shocks. Bottom of the motor is clean, has flywheel cover. Turbo 400 TCI Streetfighter automatic trans built to handle 600 horsepower. Has a 3000 stal torque converter, a shift kit and chrome pan. Ford 9 inch rear with posi gears. Upgraded brake system with drilled and slotted discs at all four wheels.
Custom exhaust system with stainless mufflers and premium clamps. It ends at the rear end. Upgraded fuel system with premium pump, lines, fittings and customized tank. Floors were restored, solid metal.
This isn't a high end, meticulous build. It is a good build with some real muscle! It doesn't have a high end price tag either.
