High, high quality. This beautiful show truck has precision fit and finishes throughout, top to bottom. I drove it home, it was smooth, comfortable and did everything right.
EXTERIOR: California rust free, steel body with a 2 1/2 inch chop. It still has original crank out windshield and opening cowl vent. New steel reproduction bed. Extra wide fiberglass rear fenders, originalsteel front fenders. The doors literally click shut with your pinky, they fit perfectly square and flush. This entire truck is laser being straight, no rust or damage. The red paint is polished like red glass, it even feels slick. It has red welting between the fenders. All the hardware looks like it's stainless steel. It has original style chrome door handles, mirrors and hood ornament. It was functional wiper. All original headlight assemblys were restored. New stainless waterfall grill. Custom bumpers in front. No bumper in back, has custom roll pan with recrssed license plate and blue dot taillights. The 15 inch Torque Thrust wheels were triple chrome plated. Dunlap tires look new, wider in back. All new smoked glass.
INTERIOR: Inside is just as meticulous. Genuine soft leather upholstery on the bucket seats with red piping. Polished Ididit tilt column with mohagany and billet wheel. Inside the cab is completely upholstered. The door panels are done very nicely with map pockets and billet handles. The dash is painted as slick as the outside. Neatly installed knobs, vents and a set of white face gauges. Down on the floor has a lokar shifter, chrome emergency brake, chrome pedals. It has 3-point seat belts. The original dome light works. It has Vintage Air heat system. Crank open the windshield and cowl vent to stay cool. I am 6 ft and felt comfortable driving it.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Show quality detailed with polished parts. It has a 1970 350 motor with a nostalgic tri-power set up. I drove it home, it ran flawlessly. It was bored and balanced, has roller rockers, aluminum heads and a polished Offenhauser intake. 3 Rochester carbs with electric choke and nostalgic Wolk air cleaners. Neatly installed fuel lines with regulator, gauge and chrome fuel pump. Mallory billet distributor and electronic coil. The plug wires are neatly run in billet holders. Stays running cool wiyh a big aluminum radiator, giant electric fan, also has a polished overflow tube. It has a modern power steering system with stainless braided hoses and an external polished reservoir. Chrome alternator, pulleys, water pump and much more. Polished Edelbrock finned valve covers. It has a set of coated headers. The firewall is mirrored. It has a stainless braided dipstick tube.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Inside the box is smooth, gloss red with stainless hardware. The bed is refinished oak with stainless strips. The gas filler has been relocated to the bed floor. Tailgate opens, has 2 retractable latches.
UNDERSIDE: Upfront it has an upgraded Mustang ll subframe with all new suspension. Has tubular upper control arms, rack & pinion steering with stainless braided hoses. In back it has new leaf springs, shocks and chrome traction bars. All new brake system with disc in front, stainless braided hoses, e-brake assembly is complete. Custom made exhaust with x-pipe, glass pack style mufflers and chrome GT tips. New fuel tank and lines. Every component under this truck is new or restored down to the last cotter pin. Chassis is gloss black. Bottom of the motor is spotless. Has a Turbo 350 automatic with external cooler and stall converter. Custom driveshaft and a Ford 8 inch rear end with a 2.79 cruiser gear.
