For sale at Blackdog Performance Cars is a 1971 Chevrolet Nova ‘Blackout’ Edition. Every piece of chrome has been painted black to produce menacing blackout muscle car you see before you. We chose a very specific wheel and tire combo for this Nova, 17-inch satin black rally wheels and custom-made red line Nitto radial tires. We love the way it looks and we feel it separates it from the crowd at any level of show or cruise.
The gloss black paint really came to life after we had a complete paint reconditioning done. We went through the black interior and replaced most of the chrome pieces due to the old ones being pitted badly, this includes door and window handles, rear view mirror, visor mounts, etc. We also replaced the gauge bezel and install and modern vintage looking radio head unit. All these new parts enhanced the interior appearance tenfold.
Powering this 71’ Nova is a 350 CID V8 engine that is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. The V8 engine features a serpentine belt setup, headers, chrome valve covers, an aluminum Weiand intake, and chrome Edelbrock air cleaner. With modern amenities like power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning this classic Nova is ready for any driving conditioning the show season has to offer.
