For Sale is a 1969 Chevy Nova. I am selling this for a good friend. I will also be selling about 15 more of his as well as my own collector cars over the next year or so. My friend bought this Nova from the Mecum Indy auction in 2011. Prior to his purchase it was said to have had a full frame-off restoration, and after going over the car very well that looks to be correct. He might have put 75 miles on the car during his 9-year ownership. The car is finished in Frost green and has a near perfect green interior with Strato bucket seats. It has a Chevy 383 Stroker engine with a 700R4 automatic transmission. Mecum's auction stated that the engine had 650hp, I'll personally take that with a grain of salt, but I can honestly say that as the driver of Super Comp Dragsters and Alcohol Funny Cars this car has a ton of power. It is one of the most responsive street cars I have ever driven. The engine has Canfield heads, a Demon carburetor and MSD ignition. It has a beautiful 3" stainless steel exhaust system. I do not have any dyno data on the motor, sorry. It has an adjustable rear suspension as well as QA1 Motorsports adjustable shocks. The car rides on General 235/40 ZR 18 tires up front and 255/35 ZR 20 tires in the rear which are mounted to SKOP wheels, all of which look like new. The paint is in excellent condition with only 3 areas on the drivers side of the hood (2 scrapes and 1 chip) and one area under the drivers quarter panel, behind the rear wheel. Overall the car has very, very nice paint but not 100% perfect. If you are a fan of these '69 Nova's, here is an awesome one at a good price. I have a lot of additional pictures available if you want to see them, just ask, ebay only gives you 18 pictures per listing now days. All in all this is a very well built car, front to back, with absolutely no corners cut that I could find. This car will make the next owner very, very proud to have it in their collection. Any questions, please ask and thanks for looking.
